Warranty Period

We provide a 12-month warranty on all products purchased from Moora Furniture Warehouse, including mattresses.

The warranty period commences from the date of delivery or customer collection, whichever occurs first.

Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in accordance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law).

Our warranty benefits are in addition to any rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers repair or replacement (at our discretion) of products that have a manufacturing or material defect, including:

  • Structural failure

  • Manufacturing faults

  • Defects in materials or workmanship

This does not include normal wear and tear or natural characteristics of materials.

Mattress Warranty – Specific Conditions

Mattresses are included in our 12-month warranty, subject to the following conditions:

The warranty only applies to structural defects, including:

  • Permanent body impression or sagging exceeding 30 mm, measured without weight applied, using a straight edge across the mattress surface

  • Broken internal support structures or springs

  • Manufacturing faults affecting structural integrity

❗ The following are not considered defects:

  • Body impressions or settlement less than 30 mm

  • Normal softening or comfort preference changes

  • Comfort issues related to firmness preference

  • Improper support (e.g. unsuitable bed base, slats wider than manufacturer recommendations)

⚠️Mattress claims may require photographic evidence and/or physical inspection.

What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Products used for commercial, rental or display purposes

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse or improper care

  • Damage caused during customer self-transport

  • Natural variations in colour, grain, texture or finish

  • Minor and acceptable variations in dimensions

  • Damage resulting from incorrect assembly or modifications

  • Failure to follow care or usage instructions

Exclusions

Subject to Australian Consumer Law, this warranty does not apply to:

  • Products sold as seconds

  • Floor stock or ex-display items

  • Products with defects clearly disclosed prior to purchase

  • Clearance items marked β€œAs Is”

Change of Mind

Due to our warehouse-based business model, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

This allows us to maintain efficient operations and offer customers the best possible pricing.

Customers are encouraged to:

  • Carefully check product dimensions

  • Confirm access points (doorways, stairwells, lifts)

  • Ask our staff for clarification before purchasing

Eligible Returns or Exchanges

A return or exchange may be considered if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Product is unused

  • Product is unassembled

  • Product is in original, unopened packaging

  • Return request is made within 7 days of delivery or collection

  • Proof of purchase is provided

All returns and exchanges are subject to approval.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Mattresses unless a valid warranty claim is approved

  • Gift cards

  • Products sold as seconds, floor stock or ex-display

  • Products assembled or installed by us or our contractors

  • Items damaged after delivery or customer collection

  • Products returned without original packaging

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are non-refundable, including in cases where a return or exchange is approved.
